Just for fun.

I had to post this succession of pictures because it was just fun. I have really enjoyed having time with just Kate while Morgan and Rachael are at school. Sometimes I take pictures just because I can. This particular day, I was changing Kate and noticed how squishable and fun her thighs had gotten. This is from 5 months of strictly nursing people. My house may not always be as tidy as I would like, and the laundry may not always be folded right away, but look at what else I have been working on...those thighs are too fun. I decided to take some pictures, and this is what I got.

Hey Mom. This is a yummy finger.

Oh, you want me to smile at the black thing that flashes? I don't know about that...

Well...okay. =)

Tubby Time!

Kate LOVES her bath. She has always loved her bath. Since we have so many bath pics, I thought that it would be fun to show you Kate in her tub through the past few months. -This will allow you to see just how big she is getting...Enjoy!

Newborn. Kate's first bath in the hospital.

11 days old. This was one of Kate's first baths in the kitchen sink. Grandma Sandy got to do the honors.

One month old. Testing out the new tub from Aunt Emily.

7 weeks old. Nana giving Kate a bath over Thanksgiving weekend.

Four months old. So happy.

Liliuokalani

At Morgan's school, every year all of the third graders participate in a Wax Museum project. The children choose a person from history to learn and write a report about. The children then become that person in a wax museum that they put on for family members to come and enjoy. Morgan chose Liliuokalani, the last queen of Hawaii. When I asked Morgan why she chose Liliuokalani, she said, 'I don't know. I just thought she was cool. She was the last queen of Hawaii.' Morgan did a wonderful job. (I will admit that when I walked into the room and saw her, I teared up just a bit. Sniff. She is just getting so big...Fortunately, the tears did not actually flow. =))

Top O' The Mornin' To You

Happy St. Patrick's Day! We had a wonderful St. Patty's Day filled with green clothes, fun goodies, and our traditional dinner of green eggs and ham. We read the book by Dr. Seuss as usual, but with a few differences. This year, we passed the book around the dinner table and took turns reading the book. So fun. Some of the readers got really into their parts..."I DO NOT LIKE THEM SAM I AM!!!!" Someday, we may have to modify this silly tradition, but for now, the girls still think it is cool. You will notice that in this picture, even the dog's eyes are green. How fun is that?

...Since we can never take pictures without a silly one too.

Fuzzy Socks

One morning last week I left Rachael playing with Kate on my bed. I had to go do something, can't remember what...Anyway, the point is, I just had to leave for a minute and this is what I found when I came back into my room:

Rachael got these fuzzy, oh-so-warm socks for Christmas. She was wearing them this particular morning, and thought it would be fun to put them on Kate. =)

Oooooh, fingers. Don't mind if I do...

Fuzzy socks! That was pretty funny Rach...

Art Work

Rachael came home this week with two HUGE pictures that she had made at school. They were too big to keep, so we took a picture so that we could remember them after we threw them out. Picture 1:
Picture 2:

Great job Rachael!!!
